No, Wowbrary requires no ongoing effort from your library’s staff. If you wish, you may quickly and easily feature your library’s programs, events, news, and reviews in the online newsletters and associated webpages. You also receive prompt, personal, and free support.

How does Wowbrary know what's new?

We automatically extract information about your newest acquisitions from your OPAC (Open Public Access Catalog) and/or via Z39.50 and APIs. Information is collected without any effort by your staff or interference with your OPAC’s function. We will also assist you if you wish to prevent certain items from appearing in Wowbrary, such as acquisitions targeted for new branches and non-circulating materials.

The collected information is enhanced with cover images, descriptions, previews, user reviews, and ratings gathered from publishers, libraries, Baker & Taylor, Google Books, and Goodreads. Obscure and very low popularity items, such as government documents, are typically not included.
